How to play the campaign in local split-screen co-op mode?

The developers mention a local split-screen co-op mode in the latest patch, but I don't see such an option anywhere. How to enable co-op in campaign mode?

Both players need a controller. Player 1 must spin the camera or character before the second player press START otherwis the game wont know which controller is the first player

The image on the split screen splits into 2 small rectangles on a black background, instead of splitting the whole screen into fields. In Resident Evil 5 it is possible to switch between these two ways of not displaying, but here, unfortunately, in the options I do not see this.

There is no in-game option to change that, it was like that in the original releases of RE5 and 6 aswell. There might be a mod to change that, but I've never looked.

In the original Resident Evil 5 there is an option in the menu that stretches the screen like here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2942229908

I know because we just finished it and now we're going to go through Revelations 2

yes, which is why I said "original releases", the widescreen option for RE5 splitscreen was added just this year.

It is possible but to make it the size of full screen each screen but this requires a NVIDIA GPU and two monitors and the full guide i saw it on RE6 years ago. I remember it was using geforce experience
