Of course theres checkpoints on specific areas if you die but if you leave the game in one of those checkpoint you will go back really far from that last checkpoin. Episode 3 is a good example for that, many people belive the "saving/checkpoint" is after the factory explote but the truth is, the last checkpoint is on the dead factory on the 4 doors and the last save is back on the kierling when you got the last meal part. So if you leave the game before activate the coop door you will return to the game like 5-10 minutes (depending your skill) behind.
Only PS3 has an excesive saving points (specially for episode 2) cause the PS3 cant rederize all the map in one part like XB360 and PC does. On PS3 every chapter has at least 5-9 saving points compared with the "normal" saving points as much you can find 4 in one episode and again on specific parts like opening a door with your partner help.
Raid mode is boring on this game only is worth it play "Weekend survivor" but otherwise the raid mode for this thing is boring and speciallly for someone who play RE6 like me cause is a RE6 Repack this raidmode.
You can do the same as other people do. Modify your save file get all the wepaons on lvl 100 rare tag and parts and do what you want. You can confirm capcom even allow this cause on RE.NET is not rare see soemone with 50 hrs and had 1st place on the events.
Shotgun with fire ammo kill anything, is even more powerfun than a rocket launcher.
