Help for a newbie

Usually play strategy 4x style games but thought it was time for a FPS - not sure this was the right choice. I am in the tutorial and just switched characters for the first time but cant switch back - is that part of the tutorial or a problem with my steam controller (I keep pushing Y but cant switch back)?

hit tab on keyboard should swithch back not sure about controller youll at least know if its working.and a great choice enjoy

Have restarted that part a couple times and I only seem to be able to switch the once, hopefully just the tutorial, though some other commands don't seem to work on the controller.

After you switch characters first time from Claire to Moria you must use flashlight on the body in air and find key, after that you will switch characters again and as Claire you must shoot this key. Pick it and after that you will have you first fight and from this point you can freely change characters.
