Game Constantly Crashes - "Previous launch was unsuccessful. Would you like to start in safe mode?"
When I first launched the game it was working just fine and I turned it up to max settings. I played for about 3 or 4 hours and had no issues. I decided to start a new game after booting it up again because I forgot some of the controls after a week. The game started crashing constantly so I tried to tune down the in-game display settings, but that didn't do anything. Tried looking up some online forums that recommended reinstalling it, and rebooting the computer, but that did nothing either. Also tried launching Steam with compatibility mode and run as administrator but still no use. Every time I launch the game a Metro Redux dialogue box pops up stating "Previous launch was unsuccessful. Would you like to start in safe mode?" I just kind of dealt with the annoyance of the continuous crashes for a bit, but now it won't let me get past the loading screen after I meet Khan and it restarts me at the beginning of that area every time.

I know that most likely it has to deal with a setting or a driver or something so I'm not saying the game is trash. If anything I'm really praising it by dealing with 30+ crashes already and still wanting to play it. At this point I'm just kind of soft locked from progressing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm running Windows 10. My setup runs games like Elden Ring in 4K just fine, so the trolls with the "Your PC is trash" mindset can stay under their comfy rocks.
