Stuck at beginning, armory

So I'm all excited to get back into 2033, right at the beginning where I'm supposed to pick up a "bastard gun" the armory guy puts it on the table. I am unable to pick it up no matter what, crouching, mashing my keyboard. I had to quit. I really hope I was doing something stupid, but it was frustrating and now I don't want to keep playing. Anyone got a tip?

been having this same problem since tuesday.. I try again every few hours just to see if anything changes but nope. I have tried what other people said, to just wait a few minutes or to leave the room and come back a few times.

I've played through both 2033 and LL before, this is a serious issue. I can't play the game and it's bumming me out.

yeah holding down E is not the problem, there is no opportunity to pick it up

I had the same problem, but when I held down 'E' it picked it up. So unless it's something different, thats all I can suggest.

You have to hold the pickup button, not "mash" it or just press it.

Just tried it myself, Holding down E or whaterver your interact button is picks up the gun. Thanks for the Tip
