Ran into technical issues on PC?

Please leave as detailed as possible information in this thread. If you are not confortable with sharing DXDiag info, please report the following information:

The Problem:
Describe what happens before/when the error occurs in a great detail as you can.

Your PC specs:
- CPU
- Amount of RAM
- GPU/graphic card
- Graphics driver version
- Sound card if applicable
- Additional info (webcam, mouse, keyboard driver suite, antivirus, etc.)

The Additional info can help us in case an issue is related to third party software, such as webcam or audio software which somehow interferes with the game.

Game won't even start. And I don't mean I can't get past the intro screen like most people, I don't even know what that looks like since I never leave my desktop. My Steam mvatar border would show up green indicating I'm playing Metro but only for like 10 seconds before it turns blue again. Benchmark tool can be started but when I actually try to run the benchmark it just hangs up.

EDIT: I started up regular 2033 and it works fine. I'm downloading regular Last Light to see if that works too but Redux definitely doesn't work.

EDIT2: Both regular 2033 and Last Light Work. Both redux versions don't. Actually they don't show up in my games list but they do on my library.

Crashes to desktop after opening video or if I press "E" to skip, no warnings or error messages. Upon re-opening, it asks if I would like to boot in safe mode as the last attempt at opening the program was not successful. Running the benchmark also closes to the desktop or closes to desktop and opens chrome with an empty benchmark report.

I have tried running it in dx9 mode and updating all possible drivers.

Unable to get to main game menu after intro crashes to desktop no error logs

Cannot download more than 150 MB for each game, steam says the download is complete once I hit 150. This happens no matter what, even if I run in administrator mode and have my antivirus and all other possible interferring programs turned off.

Error says "Failed to start game (missing executable)"

The Problem:
The very first time I launched the game from steam. It goes through the legal video, then it goes through the intro video where you are allowed to press "e" to skip. Even if I sit and watch the video or press "e" to skip, it immediately crashes to desktop. If I launch it again, it askes if I want to launch in safe mode. No matter what it now askes if I want to launch in safe mode. I even tried to uninstall the game, and re-download/install the game and first launch it still asked if I wanted to launch in safe mode.

Problem: Both Redux games crash after the intro video has ended or if I hit E to skip =(

I've tried changing the resolution and fullscreen settings in the User settings file but that didn't work. I've tried verifying the game cache as well and that had no effect. After your update today, the intro video no longer looks toon like, but still crashes afterwords.

Not a real issue, just let you guys know I found a typo in the diary Chapter Exhibition note NO.2, "When my home station desperately "heeds" every fighter it can field"

My game crashes about 15-20 minutes into playing on a consistent basis. The game screen will freeze, but the audio will continue playing in the background normally. There is sometimes screen-tearing near the top of the screen. Unfortunately, the game is rather unplayable as is since this problem happens every time I start the game.

The Problem:
Finished introduction mission, loads the 8 Days later chapter. As soon as Atrym's stepfather comes in and starts talking the game crashes, no errors, just exits..

Another MSI Laptop where the game won't even start. 2033 and Last Light act the same way. Run the exe and after a couple of seconds of the wait cursor, nothing happens. Made sure the game was set to open with the GeForce though the NVIDIA control Panel. The old versions work fine.
