The game crashes halfway into the library sections
Right after the guys leave me to myself I go into the next section only for it to crash on me every time I stare down a librarian.

Tried that, even reinstalled. Still crashes with no warning sign whenever I hit that section. I dont get it, it ran fine up till then...

Browse to Metro 2033 redux programfolder/_commonRedist/directx//June2010 and run dxsetup.exe - do as prompt and restart computer. Start steam and go to library - 2033 - options - locale files and verify integrety for locale files. Start game and use chapter selection to start last chapter. Dont use continue.
