Bug during Tower mission?
As soon as I reach the tower, after Miller says "Follow me", a nosalise appears out of nowhere and kills me. I have stayed right next to him every time, but it still appears out of thin air and rips me apart. Kind of game breaking.

Has anyone else run into this issue?

Yes. That waypoint is bugged. If you load from it, this happens. It seems to work fine if you can survive from the beginning of the chapter all the way to the second waypoint.

I had the same problem, but i just ran through the other enemies without following miller. It seems they have a scripted location to spawn, so running past them before they spawn should work.

But in that part it happens no matter how close you are to Miller. Whatever you do you'll always get killed out of nowhere for no reason. A tiny little bug that ruins it all. But it should get fixed by restarting the game tho.

I had the same bug, but not in the survival... My checkpoint is just inside and Millers is by the bus. One Nosalis attack and I shoot him. Then Miller start walks agins me, and when he is just outside the door i start running against the tower. I stop and turn under the 2 concret cover and kills 2 nosalises. Then Miller starts walking aginst the tower. I wait until he is inside the elevator shaft, then i go check out the room on left side. After that I run back and pick up a new gasmask, filter and the shotgunshells, without any nosalises...Next.. fly up the tower.

Kill the enemies before you go into the shack, works fine for me.

The problem with this explaination is this has happened several times to me, when I'm practically giving his backpack a hug. The only way I made it through once is when I ran in ahead of his commands to check the room, cleared the room, and was ahead of him before he even says "Go go go go go!"

It happened to me, I solved it by restarting the chapter and keeping with Miller, you do not have to get ahead, just follow him.

Well I was right behind him thus the line about "hugging his backpack", it still kept happening, maybe they fixed it now. It's been a while.

The bug is still there. I have restarted this scene dozens of times and either get killed by the grue or Miller stands by the shack and won't come. As far as I can tell, the game starts multiple Millers and if you get ahead of one, then it's game over. Sometimes I get Miller telling me to check out the room 3 or 4 times - after I have cleared it. I might have to restart the level.

Unfortunately I don't think the developer is listening. At least on steam. I love and respect the game, but I don't think they have a presance here. Maybe try their home site if they have one.:steamfacepalm:

What fixed it for me was running ahead of Miller before he could finish saying "we taste like sh*t".
Suddenly, no instakill Nosalis.

I had this issue. it seems to be triggered by you running too far ahead of miler in the area where the demon would kill you but you go inside the structure before it can so the insta-kill trigger is activated the next time you reach one, but you can run past it before it activates. This is unconfirmed.
