The Library Made Easy

I've heard a lot of people talking about how the library is one of the hardest & scariest levels in the game. Here is a video showing how to get through the library easily and quickly.

The library is kinda easy, a sticky grenade & a clip of military grade ammo to the face! I had a strange WTF moment in The Archives, after I got down the crumbly stairs & crawled out of the water. I eventually killed the librarian & as I walked over to collect my arrows, the 'tunnel thingy' jumped on the body for a nibble. I pumped a few rounds in it's arse & it jumped off & said "yargh, i've been hit!" What the ???

Oh man that FOV is too high, but the Library was never too hard. As with any part in this game, the NPCs actually tell you how to handle the situation... if you listen. Not bad video.

on the original i used a Heavy auto shotgun from armory and blasted them all with it, it killed them super fast on ranger

Got through it first time today without being hurt. I listened to the npc.. didn't quite catch all he was saying, so I watched how to stare them down on youtube and winged it.. the archives with the black ones was even easier.. turn your light off and sneak around all of them. I will admit, I did ♥♥♥♥ my pants the whole time though. I am only playing on normal though.

I was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ my pants too, but I followed a random video to speedrun it as fast as I could. That's how I passed through it.

the problem is, i have 2 minutes in my mask filters... theres no way im beating it. and i really dont want to redo alley if i have a choice

Don't worry. Just rush, lol. I once played the Last Light DLCs, and in one of them, there was the kind of outpost in 2033 that needed to be cleared of the nazi guys. I was nearly at the end, but I didn't have much time due to me being too stealthy, thus taking more time. I just rushed stealth-style, then I arrived just in time while coughing. My character was falling during the final cutscene, but I beat that DLC anyway, lol.

Conclusion: You can arrive just in time, lel.

There are filters to be found in that level. go left before the first one. Dont jump down....
