No filters at D6

I have completely run out of gas masks at D6. It is impossible to progress at this point. This is my first time through and I am on Ranger mode. So what can I do?

trust me I had to deal with it

take off the gas mask for a few seconds then put it back on

You can buy filters in every station, you can find filters everywhere around you: in boxes, on tables, near bodies, ect. And you run out?

Maybe restart and earlier chapter and try to be more careful with your filters.

I think on Ranger difficulty filters are only sold at two stations.

This happened to me at D6, just as I arrived once on the original Metro 2033 version. I don't remember how I overcame the issue. I think I had to start the chapter again.

now if it is a bug that is a whole diffrent story

Mis-management of resources earlier in the game is responsible. So basically not a bug, just your own careless arse... One of the things I love about Metro. One of the only games left that doesn't hold your hand and treat you like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiot...

There was a bug at the area before D6 (forget the name) I had a full filter that just disappeared. I have no idea what happened to it, just had a full filter one second and none the next.

I used to get the bug in the original Metro 2033 that preventd you from picking up new filters. THAT was a pain in the arse. Perhaps my D6 runout was also a bug? I did explore a lot though. Are you playing the redux?

Yeah but it happened the chapter before D6. I really don't know how to explain it beyond I had it and then it was gone and I suffocated.
