Can I run it ? (Laptop)
(Yes I read the system requirements, I just want opinions of people who played and know if it's well optimized or not)

Hi, I'm really thinking about buying the Metro Redux Bundle for 10$ but I'm not sure if I'll be able to run it with my laptop (since it's a 2014-2015 game with great graphics :P)... I'm usually able to run most of the games that were released in the last gen but since the next gen with GTA V, Witcher 3, etc.), I wouldn't be able to run these games well.

4gb RAM
Windows 7 64 bits
i5 2.5 GHZ
Radeon HD 7690M XT (I guess it's 1GB of Vram , not sure) (Direct X 10)

Thanks :)

That's somewhat similar to my desktop except I have a HD6870 w/ 1GB and AMD quad CPU. It runs a little suggish with all the stuff turned up. My guess, you'd turn down a few things to get an acceptable frame rate. I've never owned a laptop though so I don't no what other factors there might be. One thing I do know, $10 for these 2 games is a staggering deal! 2033 is the best looking game I've ever seen.

Yes, it sure looks great ;) ... Cant, wait to see this. Also, I don't care about playing at high graphics or not. I prefer to get more FPS than having better graphics. So, as I plan to play at low/medium, I guess it would run well based on your computer's specs.

Have you tried to lower some settings to see if it works really well that way or were you always playing on maximum settings?

I plan to research what I need to knock down, I'm never quite sure the best settings on games. I'm guessing I need to turn off the blur effect... perhaps turn down or off the AA... just play around with it. The original didn't run real well on my system either.

I do like to have the best looking experience, I mean this game just looks great with everything ON. I hate to lose that. It's almost worth upgrading for. This HD6870 has served me well but some things just make it chug. :(
