Redux Editions

I own the original 2033 and Last Light Complete edition. I see that these no longer exist and are replaced entirely by the Redux editions. Are the Redux editions (and by expansion, the current bundle deal) actually worth buying? Or do they not really offer much over the original games?

I have Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Last Light standard edition. I like the Redux version of Metro 2033, but I did not purchase it for the other game I already own. Check out the videos comparing both versions, to see if you think it's worth another buy.

If you really love these games it's worth seeing the old/new graphics differences. Some of the original graphics are better. The Redux has both watch versions.

I know that sometimes game remasters can make games worse/run horrible/crash more etc, (see Bioshock). Does that happen here? Or is this an example of a clean remaster for that purpose.

They are not even available on GOG, so I guess there is no way to still buy them.

if you can't buy them anymore the only suggestion would be to do the family share thing steam does to allow you to play others games, but it would be hard to find someone willing to give you access to their steam account... or maybe a key seller online could potentially have one or you'd have to visit the high seas

I managed to find an old code for metro 2033 original - might play it at some point just to compare it to Metro 2033 Redux. But from memory Redux is like a total remaster of 2033

if you have a console you can still play og, or you can emulate it

problem is i want the achievements and badges, im hoping to find someone who has both who would be willing to family share as i dont think theres any keys anymore lol
