I have never had controller issues with this title as it has native controller support. Is it an official wired 360 controller? Be sure you run the calibration wizard and install drivers.

The Steam Controller worked perfectly when I first played the game, and now it is "Greyed Out" in Options, perhaps help me delete .ini file.

Replying to a dead thread that is years old. Generally, it is best to search the forums and find a thread that is directly relevant to your situation and add to that conversation, but when a thread is clearly dead and no one monitoring, then that would be against the ToS.

Granted, I will say there could be a rare instance that adding to a thread with pertinent information to this very day might be acceptable to deal with Deep Silver's severe lack of moderation on these forums ever since Pew was reassigned years ago and they never bothered to replace him. The community has been forced to compensate where it is needed most. Generally these would be threads that should have been stickied by Pew or other moderators that no longer exist on the steam forums.

This would be in a bit of a gray area among the ToS, if you don't know what you're doing, play it safe and for the love of god, don't bump/necro 50 threads all dealing with the same topic, you will be banned.

While this might be a necro post, having helpful information in the 1st post linked by a google search would be helpful.

Anyone managed to solve this problem of having the controller option greyed out?

I love the uppity statements about "necro post" and just search for relevant information .... like we are just idiots that haven't actually done that already.
First off, THIS IS RELEVANT to my situation TOO. there ARE no other posts that are relevant in the search. so before being so arrogant, what about LINKING the other posts instead of getting on your high horse and telling people not to answer a necro post. Obviously this is a recurrent problem, so be helpful for once. I am in the exact same situation as IronHair was way back in late August 2017, which should say something about the problem and about the search for this problem. If you are going to take your time answering a post, maybe it would be more constructive if you linked the posts you allude to, after all if you found them, why won't you share the information? is it that you didn't find it and you were just doing a kneejerk reaction to an old post being bumped? or is it because you actually just enjoy showing off how great and powerful you are, but really don't wish to help at all?

I see many people use the SteamBPM as an input wrapper: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1189910636

Thanks for the useful info on Xpadder. Seriously, though...people need to get over necro posting. It's not a thing anymore. It happens, and the information is still relevant. Being upset over necro posting comes across as petty, unhelpful and peevish. Find something important to be upset about. I (don't) apologize if I've violated your BBS-era rules of etiquette. If you want to ban me, knock yourself out. Don't let all that power go to your head.
