Stuck in the Train car with khan

I know i need to burn the cobwebs with a lighter but for the love of god i can not pull it out. I have remapped it to every key available. I have restarted. I have reloaded. Nothing. Tried to pull out the lighter earlier in the tunnel. Nothing. Any ideas?

This is pissing me the ♥♥♥♥ off. Can't reload a prior save because this game has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ save system. WTF am I supposed to do. Glad I got all types of prepped for an immersive saturday play session to be hindered by some dumbass glitch/bug

Can you bring up your diary ?, lighter generally comes up at the same time .

Are you talking about the part where you have to duck under the obstacles while the cart goes down a track at high speed?

Well, if that is the part he's referring to, the answer is simple. Don't crouch while in the cart. Get nailed in the face by every board, and when the cart flips, you should be able to continue. Although it\'s been a while since I've played, and I don't 100% recall what part he's referring to.

I think its after he leaves Bourbon and they are in the rail car in the Ghosts section, Artyom is by himself when the cart runs off the end of the rails and crashes.

I don't recall that part. Although, to be honest, I've actually not played Redux very much, but I remember having that issue in base 2033. I think it's after the section in the railyard, with kahn and artyom. I also don't remember there being a cinematic after the first time you hold a gun in the metro, when the nosalises attack through the vents. I don't know how much has changed between the versions.

Its not Khan with you in the rail car, he leaves you at Cursed Station, its Pavel that is with you and he gets pulled off the cart in the Depot, but we'll have to wait for a reply from the OP.

He is in the train car with Khan on the ghosts chapter. Here, you indeed need to burn the webs that are blocking the way. Press M (default setting) to bring up the lighter.

I used a fire grenade to burn the webs, that works too.

Thank you all for responding. It is the train car with the spider webs. For some reason I can not use any 'secondary' weapons (bombs) or bring up my journal/lighter or anything else. I am stuck to ONLY my gun and my flashlight.

I uninstalled lasted night and reinstalled the game and nothing. Is there any way to bring up an older save so I do not have to replay the game again?

Can not bring up the diary at all

I can equip the grenade but can not use it
