OUTPOST Gas Mask Problem

I have problem that in the level outpost when Artyom stars breathing i hold G and Artyom takes the mask of then there is a red symbol that showes no gas masks and i die.I have filters and i tried 4 breathing gas mask technique is there anything i can do to fix it?
