riga rat shooting range challenge

well, the first challenge is activated by pressing the red button.
this is easy enough for me.
i win the prize of money/bullets etc

the second challenge is activated by pressing the green button...

i have been trying to complete this for about 30mins!

is it a glitch, oir am i just crap?
i'm shooting the rats pretty quickly.

the only guns i have are the revolver and the shotgun.

do you have the machine gun, as you have to reload the revolver after six shots, and i don't know if that counts against me.

has anyone completed the second green challenge (any videos showing other people completing this, as i haven't seen any on youtube..).

Completed the green one, no idea what I did that achieved it. Shot all the rats, the bottles, the hanging cans, bit of floor every so often.... used the bast'rd gun for most of it, just popping off 1 or 2 rounds at a time to keep the ammo use low.

I recall it di dtake a while, probably 5 mins or so, so 30 is definitely out the window. All I can suggest is if its breakable, break it, if its hanging make it sway, and if its living, make it dead. sorry I cant be more help...

I played for a long time too. I had already collected winnings and it kept going. Pressing the green button again stops it, pressing again after that restarts it again. No additional winnings that I got. I just figured I'd completed it and you can just keep playing for the fun.

yep, i paid the 5 bullets, then hit the red button to begin the 1st challenge, after a min or so the party hooter went off, and i collected my reward.

after that, i just hit the green button to start the second challenge.

do you only pay once, or do you have to pay to begin the 2nd challenge?

i didn't notice any context icon prompting me to cough up some more money.

so you have to shoot everything, not just the rats?

i thought the bottles were just there to get in the way? :)

i'm not sure i played the green challenge for 30mins, but i was trying the whole section for a total of that.

10 bullets to start the second green button challenge?

there is no prompt to pay 10 bullets to start the 2nd green button challenge.

it's just 5 for the first one.


it just has the flashing green button prompting you to hit it and begin the 2nd challenge.

look, as far as i know this isn't 'game-breaking', i just want to be able to get to the bottom of this.

man, this is an old thread but i came looking for an answer as to what the hell is going on in the second challenge. For future searchers, i found this on the wiki:

"Note that after the box with the reward opens, another box with a green button will open as well. This you can press to start the infinite mode where the rats appear indefinitely and no reward is offered at the end, to end the mode just press the green button again."

OMG no way thanks you're a life saver i spent 30+ mins wondering what the ♥♥♥♥ was wrong
