the amout of ball bearings you can carry is a joke look at how meany shotgun shells you can carry or rifle amo and you can see its not makeing sence
in the metro 2033 you did not have this prob leting the player use what weapons you want to
so as a player i want to use the tihar and votl driver as my weapons witch would be fun but
this sad ammo that is smaller than all of the others and your pockets cant carry more than 2 tubes
if this was more like a pen and papper rpg or like s.t.a.l.k.e.r that it would be easy for the player
to carry alot of this ammo
yes the weapons that use BB's ammo do alot of damage but this is no reson to FORCE! the
player to carry so little of them to make carrying them usessless
just think there is no limmet to the cash ammo you carry but your weapons used only bb's
what would you do.

Tihar weapon is meant to be more challenging than others. Ammo limits are realistic. Shotguns are a guarantee kill mutant/human. (original 2033 attack melees rarely one and done NPC like shotguns) Long barrel pistol who's ammo limit near Tihar can be a replacement for shotgun. 1/2/3/4 rounds for each type of mutant dependant on distance and bullet placement. 2/3 Knife melees will down a mutant. Assult rilfes are more for human type combat. Mutants eat rounds moving around making a headshot most difficult. Helling and Tihar have one shot kill power through body. By having short supply - each encounter thought out is avoiding lose of minimal resources.

so you are saying that you cant carry more ammo as it can do good damage thats stuped
and unrealistic
in the metro it would be easyer to get bb's than bulets so this ammo limmet is foolish
bb's are smaller than all other ammo tipes and cheeper to to say you cant carry more is

To each of their own. Gameplay styles vary greatly. Low Ammo limits don't happen on non-RHC modes. Survival mode allows less ammo hold than Spartan.
The limit caps add a layer of challenge. In original 2033 a player could buy as much they wanted, yet offered many attack melees with a knife, so a player never even had to fire a weapon. Redux has only one knife melee and throwing knife so secondary/ammo are needed more. Original 2033 is survival horror not a shot them-up all day type game. If you were in Metro, do think after 20 years underground and at war- Ammo would be so plentiful? At some point ammo limit were needed. Steel balls and bullets are homemade by hand as is Tihar, Bast*ard, Helling, and all shotguns in 2033. Filter are homemade with coal. Most Everything in the Metro been found somewhere on surface for re-purpose. Only 2033 weapons not homemade- AK and VSV that are pre-war era.

the problem is that you cant just use a bb's weapons and now with the low ammo count if i was to play it like it is now they i would not use eney of the low ammo count weapons
like i have sed this is forceing the player to play the game in a sertan way witch is wrong!
i play the game in ranger mode and if you look at it from there point of view you would take what ammo you need for your trip not just 2 clips and this is backed up when you see others with 12 or more clips on there armours.

I don't much like ammo limits, or even weapon limits, but I don't feel they ruined my experience in this game. Even when I thought I was done for, no ammo, almost dead, no medpacks, I managed to find a way through. Took many replays, and I won't say I really enjoyed it, but I felt like I'd actually accomplished something when I beat the game. Even more so than the original. If I want easy casual gaming where I can carry 10 weapons and unlimited ammo I'll go play Fallout 3. Metro Redux is for the challenge.

2 rangers in a bar one tells the other i bet i can get to the next outpost with 5 clips of ammo
the second ranger says i bet i can do it with 4 then the other ranger says i can do it with just one
and both died for being so stuped

no ranger would go from place to place needing to scavenge ammo as they travel they would carry what they need and 2 clips of bb's is just madness
