I thought it stopped it from crashing but it still happened. It just took a little bit longer to crash. It might be good enough to progress through the game as long as don't hang around in a crash zone.
I'll have to try it out later on and see how far I get.
Further drivers are obviously needed to fix this issue
now the game crashes when I am in the loading scrren for a level and it says"press any button to start blabla",with 340.52 the game crashes ingame,an then always direct after the start until i reinstall the driver.
I have the "display driver stopped working and has recovered" crash every time I play. I check for updates for my drivers (to include beta drivers), and geforce experience doesn't find anything newer than the ones I have, so I didn't touch these even though I knew they were around.
But if they fixed the driver crash I might download them. But from what I am seeing here, it's still a big problem?
And still no patches from 4A? Big surprise. They abandoned this even quicker than I expected.
