Spartan is more last light orientated with more ammo and other stuff
Survival is more 2033 orientated with slower reloads, less ammo
Ranger is well ranger
So Ranger doesn't stack at all? For some reason I thought you could stack it and use it with either Spartan or Survival. But if that isn't the case, then does that mean its like Survival but harder with no HUD?
Game mode :
i. Survival > game difficulty:
1. Easy
2. Normal
3. Hard
4. Ranger
ii. Spartan > game difficulty:
1. Easy
2. Normal
3. Hard
4. Ranger
Upon entering the menu you are given a choice of either spartan or survivor, then you select which one you want
Apologies for the wrong info op
Why was Ranger terrible in LL compared to 2033? Besides the fact that it was DLC and not in the base game
Because in LL ranger they completly removed the inventory, which means you never know how much ammo you have, how much time on filters is left, which type of ammo you have in your mag, and it also doesn't even show QTE buttons in QTE sequences. It's a total mess. Ranger in 2033 was only about rebalancing the weapons and not showing you how much ammo you have in mag. But you still could press the "check clock" button which also showed you how much ammo you have in inventory, filters, etc.
Ah okay I see. That sounds like a big oversight. I'll have to check the reviews when it comes out to see if Ranger is viable.
Certain homemade weapons allows player to see amount in clip. Once RHC Ammo Hold counts are known-- tracking clip reload helps or counting in you're head.
Metro 2033 RHC has larger Ammo holds compared to L.L RHC.
2033 RHC layout is less intrusive compared to normal modes. L.L RHC zero HUD enhanced immersion.
2033 has many more traps to avoid, while Last Light lacked broken glass, and maze elements offering stealth routes less challenging. 2033 stealth is more complex compared to Last Light's. 2033 offered no reprive when spotted. Hidden in 2033 is very different to hidden in Last Light. L.L AI slower to react when spotted.
