Redux Or Original?

Redux, since the originals can only be purchased via untrusted third party keys. Plus Redux has lots of improvements.

I saw that you have both. Whats the difference?
Im reading people saying that the original was better because the atmosphere and the models of the characters kinda suck at the Redux.

Redux has issues on win 10 so keep an eye for that

They rebuilt the game on the new engine that they used for Last Light. The maps in the Redux version are slightly different than the ones in the original, also the AI and graphics were enhanced

the redux is more blury, it lack she sharpes of the original, any perfomans improvments dont make difference on my rig.

The original is better, imo. They cut a whole bunch of stuff for basically no reason, and changed the geometry of a bunch of environments.

I'm actually kind of annoyed that they removed the original versions entirely. Redux should include both versions or they should have kept the originals available.

You should get Redux instead. The original isn't available anymore in the Steam store. There's a lot of major improvements in the Redux version. Also, if you still want to experience the original game's atmosphere in the Redux, you can always play under Survival game mode (it feels a little bit closer to the original gameplay).

No. You can only get the Redux versions. The original Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light have been removed from the Steam store years ago. I bought the original ones before the Redux versions came out. I still have them in my library along with the achievements I obtained. I can play them, but their store pages have been removed.
