Epic Game Store Achievements
Devs, when will the Epic Game Store version get achievements?

It's funny because Epic launched a store in beta basically, 3 years ago, with no achievement system. About 3 months ago, they finally gave achievement functionality to developers, but most developers have not added achievements to their games to match their Steam versions.

Things get hilarious when many people like me snag free games on EGS, but won't play them on there unless achievements are added. And I also won't buy the game on Steam just for achievements.

The only game where you could get achievements on Epic Games was ARK Survival Evolved. As for the other games, I doubt very much that they will add them, unless "they" get their act together.
Metro games have always had achievements on steam, so if you don't want to buy the game on steam just because there are achievements there and Epic doesn't, well forgive me for saying this, but what you're saying seems ridiculous.

EGS was testing achievements with ARK, but that was more than a year before they officially became available. EGS officially launched achievements on October 28, 2021 and some games on there have them. To be exact, 144 games on EGS have achievements as of now according to the Google sheet that keeps track of that. But it's up individual developers to add them, and not many have.

I got the game for free on EGS, and that's why I don't want to buy it on Steam just for achievements. But I also don't want to play it on EGS if there's no achievements.

I'd say ask on the epic forums... but therein lies the issue. There are community forums and the devs don't monitor this.

Also don't make duplicate threads.
