Зачем нужны очки морали?

Я прошел игру два раза, один раз пытался играть более-менее нормально, второй был "плохим" парнем. Но в конце у меня всегда был выбор, или убить чёрного или выстрелить в целенаведение. Какой тогда смысл в очках морали, если обе концовки всегда открыты?

to get bad karma often requires you to go out of your way to find and do the action, like steal the ammo from a musician at the start or kill the beast protecting her children in Dead City, which is not on your main route. Killing the wounded red soldiers at the brige (chapter War i think) and the POWs at the other side of the level, as well as killing everyone on in that level. generaly ignore all NPCs but search every level and shoot everything that moves (i think you can also shoot the children in the flashback in dead city, or the black one, but im not sure), should be enough to get the bad ending

I mean I killed everyone and made the most of bad things but still I coukd choose between the endings in the last chapter.
