Exactly how does ammo exchange and shop stuff work?
Hey everyone. I've just started playing, but I'm having trouble understanding how ammo and stuff works.

When I go to a weapon shop and stuff, and I select a certain weapon ammo (for example the revolver), it says stuff like "Buy (6)" and "Sell (1)". Buy what? Sell what? Am I buying 6 revolver bullets, or does it cost 6 money ammo for one revolver round? How much of my money ammo does that cost? And what exactly am I selling? Regular non money ammo revolver shots, or money ammo? The game doesn't actually explain what I am buying, selling, or how much any of it seems to cost. I think I'm missing something.

Also, what's the deal with trading/selling weapons? If I click "Trade" it seems to show me my gun with a sign that shows "45" and a picture of bullets. I'm guessing that means it'll give me 45 money ammo. But if I click "Sell" it says that I can sell the gun for like, 13 bullets or something. What? What's the difference here? Why would I want to sell guns anyway? Do I find extra copies or something? Do I get better guns and can only carry like 3 at a time or something? Also, how important is buying ammo and stuff either way? Will I find it laying around often? Or is trading pretty much necessary?

This game seems to be giving the impression that it has limited resources and I should be spending money carefully, but it doesn't actually seem to explain how or what I'm doing.

Could anyone offer some advice on this?

Buy means you spend that many to get a clip's worth of rounds of that type. Sell means you sell a clips worth of rounds and get that much. I always sell half my ammo before I leave the station because I will find ammo right outside.

Spend what though? Get what? All I see is a number. It doesn't actually tell me what I'm spending or getting.

Look, here's a picture of what I'm talking about.

Exactly what am I trading for what? If I sell one, what am I selling one of? What do I get back? If I buy 5, what do I get 5 of? How much does it actually cost to buy 5? What does any of it mean?

The currency in this game is military grade ammo. The value in the bracket is the cost. For some ammo type it will buy/sell in packs/group/bundle, how much ammo contained in 1 pack is not shown, you will have to check, for revolver it should be 6 in a pack. Trade is simply an exchange of a used weapon with money(military grade ammo) for a new one instead of paying full price with money(which is 'Buy'). The '45' you have mentioned is the money you will have to pay with a weapon for a new one.

When you trade a weapon, you have to pay for the new one, 45 in that case. It seems that you are just on the beginning of the game and that is why you can only trade by the same weapon. You will have more options in other station.
And yes, you will find more weapon while playing and some of them even have attachment.

Buying ammo or not... It depends on the difficulty level that you are playing. On normal level, you will have no problem with ammo while on the hardest one you will need to shoot even your "money" (If you hold "R" you can swap your ammo type and use the military grade")

So true man. The game just doesn't show how many weapon bullets you will get for your currency bullet. Its like when i go to my local market and the price tag doesnt contain what i get for my money. I have to guess and i dont like that...

From your screenshot. You have 19 shotgun, 13 revolver and 7 dirty rounds (for assault rifle).

You have 36 military grade rounds (mgr). - this is the "currency". It will cost you 5 mgr to but 12 shotgun shells.
