Game stopping bug? Ghost boy with Khan in the tunnels.
It happens every time after a reload and there is no way to progress so perhaps this is a known issue.

Shortly after you first meet Khan and you are seeing all the shadow ghosts, he gets on a train full of spider webs and a boys ghost says "Mom, where are you" at this point, Khan stops moving, the boys shadow also stops doing anything, just stands there and the spider webs are an invisible wall.

there is clearly meant to be another event happening before those invisible walls disappear but it's simply stopped, anyone had this and know a workaround?

In the original Metro 2033 there was no requirement to deal with the spider webs in this chapter or anywhere else in the game. The concept of using the lighter to burn webs was introduced in the original Last Light. If you had played the original Last Light, you would have had no issue.

The reason people are getting stuck here is that when they made Redux, they ported the web burning idea into Metro 2033 Redux and one needs to figure out the way ahead without the knowledge (only learned in Last Light Redux) of using the lighter to burn webs.

I threw a fire bomb at the webs, which got rid of them and triggered a scream and a black screen, then things moved on, this can't be intended as what would happen if you have no fire bombs at that stage because you sold them or used them?

I'll just leave this up in case anyone in the future uses the search feature on the community hub looking for a solution to the same problem as me.

Ahh, so is that intended to happen? no other spider webs so far have been impassable.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
