Anyone else miss the OG mutant designs?

While I think Redux is a very good improvement over OG Metro 2033, I can't help but feel that the newer mutant designs, those used in Last Light, look a tad bit... Bad. Now don't get me wrong, the mutants in Redux look cool, but they don't look METRO. The new Nosalis for example looks like something out of a Resident Evil game, where as OG Nosalis actually looked like creatures that had evovled from actual animals.

The Redux/Last Light mutants simply look genric, at least to me... Anyone else prefer OG Metro 2033 mutant designs?

This isn't meant to bash the game btw, I do enjoy the Redux version, but I simply wished to see if anyone else on here shares my love of the OG mutants.

I actually think the opposite, I think the Redux/LL models look more like actual mutants while the OG mutants sorta looked more like Silent Hill enemies.

I prefer the new look of the demon and the librarian's face looks much better than the original.

I'm not hating the changes I've seen in exodus either.

I never played the original Metro, but the whole point of a re-do is to introduce brand new concept of what the game could have been! either way, its stil a personal preference for sure

as someone playing the game for the first time this week, the OG mobs look like generic demons from some old doom clone
