Librarians are complete BS

You don’t need to fight them, just stare them down.

They do appear in a couple of LL DLC missions, but not in the main campaign.

atleast 2 times the game straight up tells you how to deal with them. its your fault if you just walk in guns blazing. that being said, they're absoultely killable even on hardest difficulty if you got good weapons for it. on normal any weapon should do.

I did not walk in guns blazing. If all you're good for is spouting assumptions you should rather keep your mouth shut.

These guys are thrown at you one after another in very narrow rooms in which sometimes they don't react properly and start attacking you even if you stare them down. Actually killing them is not an option either because there are like a dozen or so and it would be an enormous waste of ammo.

Maybe properly research your ♥♥♥♥ next time before being an insufferable smartass.

dude, ive killed them all on hardcore so im pretty sure i know what im talking about. unlike your noob ass who cant get past them on normal, hahaha. killing them is 100% an option unless you suck balls. which you obviously do. Have you even read the books before coming here to whine and screech at others?

The fight against the librarians in the books is so wild, it badly hurts the party. And that is in completely unlit, dark corridors of bookshelves, narrow stairways and a small hall. And the librarians react to noises, so the party has to sneak and lay low throughout their time up there except when spotted.

The narrow corridors and seemingly unending series of enemies is exactly how it was there in the canon.

Maybe you should learn to play before raging your intestines out at others.

just stare them down and if they start to walk towards you just move aside a little bit so they dont attack you and then just proceed to the next area or you can just speedrun the whole sh7t if you know the map obviously.

This isn´t your average Call of Duty, where you kill everything, just because it´s between you and the end of the level.

Listen m8, if this is about the librarian after the elevator, you actually have to go back into the elevator to stop him from attacking you. The game doesn't really explain that to you, so that's one part you can complain about. All the other encounters can be avoided, unless it got glitched.

But if it's glitched that's not the fault of the gameplay, that's just 4A being dumb, which is also understandable to be mad about.

But if you're fighting the librarians everytime you encounter one, it's probably not the game.

^ actually one of the npcs explains that if the staring down doesnt work (as in they dont attack, but keep moving towards you), back off slowly. just dont get cornered and you're fine.

I found them super annoying the first time i played, but i just did my third playthrough and the library is one of the easiest parts. I havent died to one in my last 2 playthroughs.

small chance staring them down wont work, but aslong as you have ammo, you can kill them but it is pretty hard

Right because there is no danger on remaining on the surface indefinitely. There is no time constraints whatsoever, we have all the time in God's Eternity to stare down an ugly gorilla ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that ignores claymores. Umm excuse me but give me a real life example of anything ignoring claymores and if you do, I will kill your pet gorilla with claymores to prove you wrong.
