Stuck in a spot with no gasmask

So I am on the part of D6 where you get off the train and you need a gas mask. Unfortunately, I am out of filters and I seem to be stuck in one part with no progression. Any way to fix this?

Well, the only thing you can do is to reload an earlier chapter and do better.

I ended up finding a couple filters around. I was doing as good as I can and I had a couple filters the misson before, but they disappeared when I started the mission.

I also just got to the part where the toxic fog clears out, with no use for my gasmask anymore, but thanks for the help anyway

welcome to metro, first time i played it auto saved on the surface with a broken gas mask around 2-3hrs in. impressed is not the word!

there are extra masks and filters in every area that they are required if you just look around

restart the level, and if you still dont have filters, ur fked
if you do, even if its 30 secs just keep putting off the mask and put it on after you hear the heart beats thing, thats when youre about to die, and keep an eye on filters, there is a few in D6 spam E on all the lockers and boxes

Yeah I beat the game already. great game cant wait to move on to Last light also plan on reading the books
