Chapter 4, War, is where things start to heat up. Though the game is generally as fast paced as you are. You want more action? Create it.

That doesn't really answer my question. It get's a bit faster paced later on but overall it's a fairly slow, tense survival horror type game. Again I'm not really sure what else you were expecting.

Boring? These games are on the top of my list for playing. Games are NOT all about solid run and gun action! These games are about the Story. Want a challenge in game? Try playing through on the Ranger Hardcore mod.

Both Artyom and his enemies are "glass cannons", killing and dying incredibly fast, up to the point of one shot - one kill. If you want a more fast paced "run n' gun" kind of style then like they said, make it happen. Instead of always stealthing go loud, although this may not be the best choice unless you play on a lower difficulty, I'm currently doing a playthrough on ranger hardcore where I'm not allowed to stealth if I do then I restart the chapter, It's rather fun you should try it.

No need to be petty people. The game doesn't suit him and that's fine, it doesn't prevent us from enjoying the game ourselves. My advice is next time watch some gameplay before buying a game so you don't pick out a game you'll dislike later.
