This game is pretty boring.

I don't quite get what the fuss is all about. I suppose most of the overwhelmingly positive reviews come from Russian gamers as they could relate to this one. I played the game for 45 min and was bored to death, refunded this and Last Light.

Very regrettable that this game was not for you. On the other hand I'm not of Russian blood and I liked both games, really looking forward to a continuation of the game. Good that you were reimbursed the game so that you can buy something you really like instead.

Actually, the majority of the sales from this game are not from Russia, the US and China both beat Russia in terms of sales for Redux. This is a single player, story driven experience.

Ever tried the ranger difficulty on survival mode? The game will get a lot more enjoyable if you try that.

Lol i dont think reading the book could make it enjoyable for him. I i.e like gamews with much gameplay and less talking but i rly liked the story i dont know why but it was nice. Also its good to have a opinion as he stated. Would be boring if everyone is the same :P.

I'm glad you guys all had a good time. I'm not just not into the post nuclear setting (I'm not into Fallout series either). I love story driven games (say the old Thief series); this just wasn't my setting.

Story is little bit different than in books. In books I would say it was more cruel.. More characters died and completely different stations. Ill probably continue my playthrough when Ill get hands on metro 3035 book

I dislike turn based games, I like civilisation.
I dislike first person shooters, I like call of duty.
I dislike top down games, I like the earlier grand theft auto games.

Quality beats any dislike caused by other games in the genre.
