How do I restart a level?

For Metro 2033, NOT the redux. I'm posting here because A) It's still metro 2033, and B) some jackass took down the original metro 2033's store page, the jerkoffs.

Anyway I'm on the Khan level whre Bourbon was kidnapped and I need to restart THAT level, but when I go to the Load Game in the main menu, the most recent available level I can load is the one beforehand where I'm up on the surface.

It's startin to piss me off a bit because Khan keeps killing the bandits and alerting them and they all gang up on me even though I'm fking hiding.

You can reload from the chapter selection menu.

I appreciate the reply, but the level doesn't appear in the menu when attempting to load that chapter

When you go to Chapter select, the level that you are talking about is "Dry". If it is not there, you likely had an issue involving a save game and you will have to replay from the last available chapter - "Dead City"...

Khan alerts people? You sure that's not you accidently alerting people because you can't hear the sound cue that plays when someone sees you? Because Khan only assists while in combat not outside of combat unless its an isolated individual.

Yeah Khan's been alerting the guards. There's the only two guards I know of that he actually kills and when he does they're bodies drop to the floor and alert the guards. PErhaps the game is bugged. idk. Either way I just set it to easy and plowed my way through

If i remember correctly the people he shoots get pinned to where he shot due to the arrow so them dropping to the ground is because of you taking that arrow out of that body.
