How many jumpscares/how scary is it

Im just wondering how scary is this game and are there a lot of jumpscares? I heard it makes you feel scared because of the atmosphere but is there anything else! Thanks, just finished downloading!

Jumpscare not a lot, but the atmosphere is perfectly aligned with the situation you will be in. Goodluck out there in metro!

One more thing, I see you have a lot of hours so you will know :P is this an open world/free roam game? or do I have to stick to some sort of path.

Stick to the path, follow the lighter's flame or the compass if you get lost, though you will be rewarded a little with ammo/ambush if you wander around much.

There aren't jumpscares as far as I've made it in the game. The horror aspect isn't really the focus of the game, it's more just the atmosphere.

There is some gore and dark themes, few jumpscares.
