The game is too slow, repetitive and has too many unnecessary transitions. Its very polished and I like the concept but there's a lot of things that need refining.

Simple and short, but quite fun to play.

If I could I would leave a mixed review. The game is missing 2 main things and is lacking something that would help it out. First, no way to manipulate rng. You can get lots of items that allow you to look at your hand but they are for the most part useless. Yes, I do get to see what my hand is. It does not prevent me from playing the bad cards however. A simple way to fix this is add a mechanic that reshuffles your hand after 1 or 2 cards are left. The second main problem is in the deck. You have very little ways to actually attack the monster you are facing. The one way you do comes into play maybe once every round. This could be solved by simply playing the joker have the effect. Even if you have to lower the amount of them are in the deck. The last thing that could help improve the game is adding a speed up feature in the settings. The game is really slow. Mainly the amount of times you are in the encounters and waiting for the cards to flip over.
TLDR: not enough player control but still a good game.
P.S: The player, after getting hit by a death card, is not forced to take another turn. The monster actually takes their turn while you are cutting off your finger it is hard to notice but it is there.
