Career mode?
Just got the game but haven't installed it yet. I've heard that career mode starts in 2014 and you do 2 seasons, 2014 and 2015. Is this true? And if so, do I stick with the team or change team according to team/driver changes in the real championship?

And why do people complain about career mode and says that there isn't any career mode? It is, you just play as a real driver and not a made up driver with your name.

When you boot the game up, it gives you the choice to select which season you would like to play. I don't know whats in 2014 but I guess it would be the liveries in 2014 but with the new physics of 2015.

And when you have finished the 2014 season it'll take me to the 2015 season, playing as the same driver or not?

I have no idea as the game is still new and I'm sure no one has completed the 2014 season feature yet. But I highly doubt it will because the drivers will be different and if you choose a driver from the 2014 that isn't in the 2015 season you won't have a car to drive.

Is there a career mode at all? i heard there is no career mode.

no there is zero career mode. only a normal and pro championship mode.

There is a career mode, but it's different from the classic career mode. You play as one of the drivers through one season, or maybe two seasons if you start in 2014 bonus season.

I dont think the seasons will be linked at all as you choose one of them before you enter the game itself. thsi game just doesnt have a career mode, its just teh one Championship where you progress through all the races one at a time.

As Hallowenman stated there is no longer a career mode integrated as it was known in the older f1 titles. Now you have the championship mode.

The difference is, that you only drive for 1 year as a real driver and cannot change team within the season. The good thing is the presentation.
It's made more like in real life.
That means you get cutscences before each session, where the commentators tells you sth. about the teams, the track and drivers. So it is more like on tv.

So you can still drive a whole season, but not with your own name and you cannot change a team within the season.
