Talking to Engineer on PC?
There is a button in game to talk to the engineer but how does it work? I have a logitech headset that has a mic but I have not been able to use it in-game

on the xbox 360 controller u push the LB botton in and then use the D-pad to scroll throu the list thats all i know on the pc so far

I use a g27 to race. I tried using the dpad but its really difficult to do while racing...

agreed there i find it hard since u dont have much time to read the lines and watching where ur going as well.... wish i could have helped more with the problem

The console you can talk to the engineer via your microphone. Yet another PC game that is watared down and consoles get features PC doesn't. FK CM

How do I select it without a mic? I mean I scroll down the list to "Weather update" and then? Do I need to press anything for him to tell me that stuff?

You didnt know ? i think it was quite obvious...

Because, codemasters, its not like Windows 8 has voice recognition either. :)

cant be that damn hard to make it overlap or something and only react to FUEL.. or WEATHER... TYRES.. LAPs.. position.. and then make the voice rec send that to the game engine..

On the 360 pad you hold LB and then use the D pad to scroll down then you press right to select it.

It's pretty fiddly and hard to do unless you are on a longish straight.

Problem on pc if you play on controller buttons on the screen isnt the same you need to press. Wait for patch rly badly.

There is a key for "Voice command" and it actually works, but game doesn't recognize mic.

Only do it on straights! In real life the driver will not answer untill he can concentrate on it. Actually last race rosberg was asked something and finally answered when he got to the straight. could imagine it being a drag on monaco though!
