i had that issue with f1 2012
Everytime I changed a gfx setting it bombed out on me. Eventually I used nvidia experience software to make changes for me. I still had to set to windowed mode and resize manually to stop it over lapping multiple screens.
The 2 control presets were annoying for me. and it took me a few mins to realise there was an extra option to customise controls individually. once i sorted this it made the game playable.
After completing the first race you get a video of entering the pits at race end etc.. I was getting 2 videos overlayed on top of each other along with the screen flicking in and out between them. which sort of kills any realism effect you may gain while actually racing.
Once I got set up with controls and gfx. It actually plays very well and the crashes I got at first stopped. The video playback was seamless. Some of the views were a bit restrictive, but i suppose thats down to personal preference.
Also, no single options for tweaking the input strengths??
- Left rear tyre disapperaing when looking at the car from the outside
- Absolutely no vibrations in controller despite maxing every option out
Not surprised at all by this. I stopped purchasing day-1 releases after the 'X-Afterbirth' debacle. I've saved an absolute fortune so far ;).
At first i thought the lighting effects at night races would cause the problem, but at Singapur i'm running at smooth 60 fps.
Anybody else having this problem?
I'm running max settings. Every track is running smooth despite Bahrain and Abu Dhabi
CPU: Intel i5 - 4670 3,4 GHz
Graphics card: AMD R9 280X
8GB RAM
- Crash after benchmark
- Slowest loading times I`ve ever seen on PC
- Stutters during gameplay, can be helped by lowering graphics settings, but I feel graphics vs. performance ratio isn`t right.
- AI on straights is rediculously fast and loves to drive right into my tail for no reason :/
