Controllers issue STILL

I had the game working reasonably well until the patch of 31/07. Then this controller issue broke my game. Never got fixed.

After Patch of August 20th, still no change. Can you please fix this? (see below for details) Even some sort of work-around would be great. But, for now, I can not use the game. It is unplayable now.

The bug I am seeing is this. I go into the controls, press F1 key to create/edit my joystick and pedal profile. I select the accelerator and press enter key then push on pedal as directed. Game sees this as "AXIS Y+". which worked fine prior to patch of 31/07. Once I get to track my car is at half to 3/4 throttle and I am not pressing any pedal or button!! I go to control settings again and find the accelerate axis has reset itself to "AXIS Y-"!! No matter what I do, (ie: reverse axis, etc.) this keeps happening, making game to be completely unplayable now.

Any chance I will get a working game?? Or did I lose my $60? I don't understand why my controllers are working perfectly fine with F1 2014 & 2013, but not this game. Please Help. Thanks

If it's not mentioned in the patch notes, don't expect it to work after the patch.
Also, if you're using a non-supported device, they might not ever fix it.

There are many people out here that use multiple controllers and cannot play the game that they have paid money for. This combination of multiple controllers has worked on every other version of F1 201x and on every other driving game I have played (many). The fact that Codemasters have coded the game this way is an absolute show stopper for many of the most serious car sim players out there, so it should be taken seriously and fixed.
On the Codemasters own forum they have stated that they know the problem exists and are working to fix it.
You cannot expect people NOT to complain when weeks and months go by and other things get fixed but not the thing stopping them play.

If you are happy with the game as it is, you are lucky but DO NOT tell people not to post about the VERY REAL problems that they are suffering.

Yeah, non-supported controllers. If they worked before and an update broken them, I am very confident that you can get a refund. But non of you fools ever requested one.

Well you can't compare all the games, this one uses an updated engine for example.

I'm fine with people complaining, but complaining like little babies after every update that didn't even mention fixing of your problem, is idiotic. Also, why don't you use the report bugs thread in an appropriate manner? People just go there and post ♥♥♥♥ like "controller doesn't work", yeah that's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ helpful.

Actually, I'm a very helpful member in this community, feel free to look through all the threads and find me trying to help people, so keep that comment to yourself.

The game is unplayable from day one for me due to missing force feedback. But while you might have had to argue, whether this really made id unplayable, it readlly IS unplayable for a month now.
My pedal settings get messed up. I configure my throttle pedal to be throttle. But my clutch pedal reacts. And I can't make the car move from starting position, no matter which gear I use or using pedals to throttle and the keyboard. The car won't move.

Please, Codemasters, stop fixing graphical glitches and new tracks, etc. But MAKE THE GAME PLAYABLE FIRST! It readlly is of zero use, if the graphics get improved, but you can't move the car.

not expensive, but we can not complain about the codemasters dear, after all our controls and steering wheels (G25 ????) are not compatible with the game, even if accepted by the other 99.99% of simulators, then codemasters not to blame ,and who paid $ 60 in the game? smoothly, does not play (irony mode on),

My Fanatec GT3 RS v2 with Club Sport Pedals should be supported. Any they even once worked (without force feedback though). Now I can't use them (nor any other input like a keyboard).

my tm t500rs gas pedle stoped working properley since the 27/08/2015 half the axis is dead in f1 2015 and onley f1 2015 deadzone set to 0

This latest patch now seems to have solved my controller issues. I can at least start using the game again.
Does any one know how to avoid getting patches/updates installed automatically?
Since I now have it working again, I don't want any new patch breaking my game again as happened with patch of 07/31
