How do I change tyre types mid-race?
I was doing a 30 lap championship, going normally, but it started raining heavy toward the end. Announcer recommended that I change my tyres, but when I pitted I couldn't. I looked online, and the only thing I could find was to use the quick menu keys. Those didn't work. Pretty much Alt f4'd out of the game one lap later after getting spun out by 3 different cars. Is there something I'm missing? Really don't want to have to go through that again.

what controls are you using, if like me it's a controller, make certain the d-pad keys are the only ones assigned to the quick menu keys. then when in a race just press the d-pad key and navigate to the tyres(usually d-pad up) and the select your tyre type(indicated by a direction arrow) use the corresponding d-pad button with the arrow(example: d-pad up for tyres and d-pad right for primes or d-pad up for option or d-pad down for inters.)
I had them bound to the arrow keys on my keyboard, guess that's why. Thanks for the help mate, I'll try that out later
