What are the differences between this and F1 2017?

I think I got this free, and I'm wondering if F1 2017 is different enough to be worth the price, or if it's basically the same game, with some very minor differences.

I saw reviews which said 2017 is way better. There is a reason this was the free one.

I don't have 2017, but 2016 and the car handling controls is much worse in 2016 than in 2015. 2016 and 2017 has more features and a better simualtion of a race weekend, but with an Xbox controler 2015 is much much better to drive with. A lot of stuff in 2016 and 2017 is direct copy/paste from the 2015 game (such as animations and even a lot of the graphics). In anyway, 2016 and 2017 is not worth the full price at all as they are not complete new games, but an updated/upgraded version of the new season with a lot of the old stuff still in the game.
