It does so much damage it seems like it'd possibly even one-shot you and you'd need 640 evasion to ensure it never hits you.
Could be an optional boss we're meant to circle back to much later.
Anyone know how to find it or other stories?
For example the 75/s (for 1s) from Cloak/Basselard gets overwritten by 30/s (for 30s) of venomous brew :( Heres hoping for a complementary disease potion :D
A lot of them are triggered by having enough of something or doing something enough times. The eel is simply a rare encounter. It feels like the maker pulled back from everything depending on the random time events. Like the knight is from dying enough times.
Channel four - have a 9 lvl of our main element to unlock
Student contest - have a 9 lvl of our main element and 1 research desk and 2 wiz chambers
Alchemy class - i'm have a 11 lvl of my element and unlock health potion.
Advanced Mana Spout - have at least 20 of mana spout.
How to fight - random one , appear when you a lot of die( or fight ?) in the dungeon ( welp i'm die around 50 times until it's appear :D) This storyline have a 4 bonuses , but we can choose only one.
And ofc linear storyline - retire . compendium ( kill many monsters and a diff types of them) classes ( kill a first boss) , new elements ofc.
Idk random they place have to trigger ( expect essence one) or not but i'm unlock them at my first dungeon ( have air element and i'm in air dungeon)
About essence storyline it's look like we need a 15k storage to trigger i think ?
Still need a check this.
Also like in the past game you can unlock around 4-5 storyline maximum per retire , bcs after that , they become very hard to trigger.
About storyline at all - It's look like we can easily unlock around 15 of them. But welp dev anyway a little later give us a MR2 compendium about storylines when game out( i'm hope so :D)
- still missing fire essence generator
- at least 2 stories from the How to Fight
- at least 2 from Furniture Preservation
- at least 3 from the Sombody's Trash
So that accounts for 8 out of 10. During the next run i will note down how many choices are still left in the multiple choice events.
Metamath though that, blur, potion of evasion, cloak, shadow blade. Your only getting most 250 evasion. That only works out to like 50% evasion on a 400 damage attack, that is not saving your rump.
This all leads to the second problem, it's ethereal 400 dodge means your never going to hit it, this requires something that either decreases their dodge, or increases your accuracy, best bet is both. Landslide will drop that by 40, which gives you like a 1/10 chance of hitting which is something, but this seems like it's going to be a endurance battle.
So whats left, well we just gotta stack armour, a ♥♥♥♥ ton of it, regeneration probably will be the go to, so maybe permacasting healing spells, maybe regen, hard to say. But Earth gets some advantages here, but you still gotta get one more quirk of increasing your accuracy. You need to have a more than 100 accuracy in the first place to even hit the landslides and you can just spool from there. I forget the spell name but it gives you like 20 accuracy, which is all we need to get that minimum.
The problem with this is I don't think there is an accuracy spell. Unless it requires a specific main element or class I haven't seen anything that effects the players accuracy. That's why I had settle on poison since it doesn't require an accuracy check. Armor probably is the right way over evasion but my armor was hitting like 300 and i wasn't able to maintain 100ish damage every 1.5s even with good healing
