Familiars are not very useful in fight

Currently we can have multiple familiars. They can both farm resources, and fight in battle.
Compared to first game, they seem lacking in both ways.

The resources are farmed much slower, due to smaller amount of familiars (compared to 1st game).

And the fighting is even worse, when compared to 1st game summons.
We can use one familiar only - and when it is killed, it will not recover fast enough (e.g. earth golem against Vlad).
And when we try to summon the other familiar to fight, the game wont allow it.

While I am ok with the lower resource income, the fighting mechanic for familiar feels really off. The 20x faster healing feels like nothing on familiar like earth golem.
At least allow us to use all familiars during one fight once..

I think familiar are OK. They help a bit on most build and there are build that can really focus on them.
Like most other system they are a tool you can use depending on the challenge or fight.

Familiars start being really bad, but they get good after a while.

Yeah, you need to experiment with different kinds of familiars because there are some that scale REALLY useful stats. They do seem really bad at the very start but that's because you don't know their specialties yet. Hint: each element has an exclusive familiar item you can Transmute.

Certain familiars are very nice DPS, and others are very nice tanks, and the goblin can heal you. If you want them to shine though, you need to make the accessory for them. Also, there is a way to gain the ability for your heals to affect the familiar.

They are fine. there is no downside to having a familiar fight along and you can heal and buff them alot later on. In the beginning just use a scarab one to tank for you.
