thats my thoughts after watching trailers.... I think most budget went into Character Models xD but the background or even terrain / meshes / ground textures look BASIC. Off putting for sure. Will wait for reviews on this one.

You know...I agree with you all who complain about everything. I really think the best solution to everyone with complaints is that they just don't buy/play the game. If you don't intend to buy/play it....why do you waste your time in the game steam discussion pages? You're either hypocrites, or you're just trolls with no lives. Because why are you here to bash/hate on something you don't like, don't want, and never want to touch/play/pay for?

That makes no sense. Which means my two points above are the only valid options to choose from. And no, you're not "critics of video games/the genre" if you're trying to tell everyone to not buy it, boycott the game/company because of nintendo giving them more money so they'll have a bigger budget for RF6, or anything else like that. You don't offer constructive solutions, it's all complaints. Nothing but hate. Personally, I find it kind of amusing to see that in 2025 people have no lives/friends that this is all there is in their life. I'm here because I have enjoyed the series from the beginning, and for me RF isn't the first series to go from a 2/2.5D into 3D games. Are the first couple always polished gems? No, but they have to start from somewhere. I also have made it clear over many threads I DO intend to buy and play this day 1, which makes sense for me to be on the boards of a game I like and intend to play. You guys should really think about why you're here, because it just makes a lot of us feel sorry for you having nothing else in your life.

Yes that is in fact entirley valid criticism. Consumers finding the graphics of a game which is an art form ugly, and ass means bad that is valid critism towards the game. You seem detached from reality really disturbing. They gave clear reasoning behind their remarks citing a lack of quality textures and flatness. You are the reason the industry is dying, constantly attacking consumers that give opinions on games and have standards

The emotion is pooring out of you both. Attacking a consumer for an opinion on graphics of a game as of which they gave clerar logical argument for almost everyone i see is in agreement, neither of you can say how they are wrong, both of you are just insulting them. Really pathetic and disturbing.

So to clarify, you think all games/art/anime should only be allowed one style legally? And anything/anyone that uses a different style should be shamed/canceled?

Sounds like you're detached from reality and just want to smother creative expressions that differ from your own. If you don't like it, you don't have to buy it. No one is forcing you to be here, you willing chose to come here and complain. Seriously, do better with yourself.

So what is the OPs problem then? LOD textures? I can point to probably half the steam library games with the same thing. Normal textures? The game isn't out yet so changes can always be improved because even the company videos have a disclaimer that it can change. Complaining about something that's not released yet is a baseless complaint. Now they can come back and complain all they like AFTER the FINISHED product has been played, and I'll be happy to tell them I enjoy it still.

Their opinion doesn't trump my own, and I will always defend what I like and enjoy because I won't let someone else tell me what I can and cannot like or enjoy. Sorry if you don't have anything to enjoy to understand this.
