I'm a straight man. I just happen to like playing female characters and only interested in romancing female characters. I like the inclusion because it lets me have both. Even the female romance options are great this time. I admit 5 left me disappointed, but this one has great options. There are like 4-5 out of 7 that I like (Uraraka, Clarice, Matsuri, and Hina) in this one meanwhile in say 4 which everyone touts as being the best I only really liked romancing 2 with Forte and Margaret.
In order for a game to be more appealing to you it has to be less appealing to another audience by removing OPTIONAL content? Are you serious?
And yes, I do want them to appeal exclusively to my audience, because company resources are limited and if they're spending money and time on appealing to women and gays, then that's less time spent on content for straight men. That's why since RF3 the quantity and quality of bachelorettes have gone down.
I want to believe it's a post bait What's the problem with you being able to choose your gender? I think it is the minimum in this type of games with a social component.
? Homophobes and mysoginists still have have hundreds and hundreds more games with social and dating sim, both gacha and console/pc games. The hell are you talking about?
Neverland (the development studio for 1-4, Frontier, and Tides) went bankrupt. Yet Rune factory 5 is the best selling Rune Factory game and had the best release in the series in Japan despite being poorly optimized, and guardians of azuma is going to do better. You can cry all you want, it doesn't change the fact that until Rune Factory 5 the series was basically dead and now we have Guardians of azuma and Rune factory 6.
pathetic old orange man is too busy with destroying american economy and society and wiping his old ass with american constitution.
And the same-sex option is in the games because it is a feature that was done thanks to the survey by Japanese themselves. Marvelous said that the survey they did some time back was a contributing factor to the decision to add it. Homophobes can cry all the want, but they need to realize that not every country is a pathetic racist, misogynist and homophobic sh*thole like Alabama or Mississipi lol
There is nothing wrong with that. Some people are just sad and miserable and want others to feel sad too. Possibility of choosing mc's gender and romancing whoever you want makes perfectly sense in this kind of games. It's a farming adventure sim with social and dating simulator, not God of war, The last of us, Final fantasy XV, etc. The MCs in Rune factory aren't Kratos, Ellie, 9S, etc. Hell, even Persona 6 or 7 having 2 mcs and a same-sex option would make sense too
And then many of those insecure chuds complain and are angry because they can't find a girlfriend/wife XD
