Lowering the resolution while playing fullscreen brought no advantage, the one interesting thing here seems to be the graphics quality.
Oh well fingers crossed this is an early version issue. ^^
Edit: Also, this means far less chance of anyone streaming the game, or even making as many "Let's Plays" as the game deserves.
That would their fault then XD. But I would agree. 1280x720 Half HD -1920x1080 True HD or 720x1280 Half HD -1920x1080 True HD would be more than enough for most cards.
I do think they're using the more efficient method for loading textures. (The reason behind the single sheet of cards rather then individual images is so the single sheet can be loaded in as one texture which is applied to all of the cards in the deck. The unique face for each card is obtained by changing the texture coordinates so the proper section of the texture shows.)
My guess would be that people are loading in a lot of separate decks with very high resolution... It could always been something more obscure though. Code gremlins!
Weeeell XD
I do no think its that, I just tried your version of CW and I got the Windows 8 BSOD with the sad smiley. ;( lol.
i should probably eat my own dog food and trim those pictures down.
I think a cardgame with graphical more advanced cards is no good if you cannot make out details on zoom, so there has to be a certain level of detail. :)
Out of curiosity, how much memory do you have available as I assume you are able to play your own game? There has to be a reason why it crashes here.
Sure, cards should be readable, but you prolly don't need to see the dust flakes that where on the scanner plate :p
16 gigs, but i'm not crashing or running out of it, the game just derp after the 13th deck for me.
Admittedly most of them are big mods, but they still at least worked without crashing the game before.
And yeah I tried everything from the link extractor to just deleting the URL Images folder, etc.
