Did you enable portforwarding for the port you use in TTS (can be set in advanced settings). If not, that would be the next step to try.
Though you should be able to host by using a proxy, which is the case for me, so it might be something else on your pc making a fuss.
But you need an internal network that has ipv6 also.
The ipv6 to ipv4 migration is kind of a pain. If you get an ipv6 router you can do port forward normally.
But since i have an v6 connection, port forwarding does nothing for me although it always worked before while using v4, so i'm just speaking from experience.
But using the ingameproxy should still be enough to at least be able to host a game without the need for portforwarding, so that wasn't really the point anyway.
What kind of router you guys have? Most routers made after 2014 you just need to turn on some option in them to enable ipv6
Not gonna buy one for myself though, but would still like to know if I could get port forwarding to work with DS-Lite.
Also, the increased ping is (again, my experience) fine, especially in TTS.
Also, I'm not sure what DS lite is.
Which is why i am almost certain port forwarding does not work, regardless of what i do.
I just assumed the OP had the same issue, since there shouldn't be any problem if he didn't have DS-Lite.
It seems for the time being I can work around the problem by connection to a VPN, though I hope I'll find a better solution at some point.
EDIT: And I assume it is DS-Lite. ;)
I'm not sure how well the TTS proxies deal with trying to talk between ipv4 and ipv6 clients.
