Update 0.1.4 - Spring mood in Vuntra City

Update 0.1.4 Notes

New additions:
- Some sectors now feature blooming cherry trees, glowing versions included.
- New SDF shader variant on billboards: Māui - Fragment III by KΛTUR.

Bug fixes:
- Fixed issue with unique books leaving a ghost copy when you pick them up.
- Fixed issue with elevator doors not spawning in multilevel interiors in certain scenarios
- Improved sky tram route geometry (thanks to the glitchy seed found by YorVeX). By the way, if you find another glitchy seed with weird sky tram paths, don't hesitate to report it on Discord.

Bizzare experience in the best way

Eerie empty city, lights on, everything unlocked, everything just left how it was as if everyone disappeared. Going to the tallest tower you can find and going to the penthouse, looking out the window to see how huge the city actually is. All the little procedurally generated details like brands and art are interesting too, to me at least....

Demo Patch 0.1.3 - Interior Stairs!

Patch 0.1.3 Content

This is a small patch to add stairs to the multilevel interiors. The stairs have a variety of models depending on the interior's quality level, and they only spawn if there is enough room.

Oh and another small change is the kitchens in bars and cafes will now spawn shelves instead of tables for a more industrial kitchen look.

0.1.2 Patch Notes

New Additions
- New room type: kitchen
- New room type: storage room

Fixes and improvements

Residential interior overhaul (apartments/hotels).
- Residential interiors are more likely to spawn on all floors except ground floor.
- Residential interiors are now more likely to contain bedrooms (and kitchens).
- Some furniture items like beds, couches, and armchairs are more likely to spawn by the wall rather than in the middle of their slot to improve layout realism. This is a work in progress and I am constantly looking for ways to make the interior layouts more realistic.

Fixed stutter when entering a vehicle or an elevator.
Fixed several furniture models that were missing LODs.
Elevators will now close their doors on delay rather than proximity.
Taxis will now leave after a delay as well as on proximity.
Some bar counters will now have beer taps.
Radio stations won't pick the same track twice in a row anymore.
Added a missing button press sound for the fireworks remote.

about buildings

First of all I will say that the demo is very impressive and the lore behind the map is cool. but there is only one thing killing me sometimes when I explore. the fact that some the procedural placement of floors sometimes gets weird, I mean who in the right mind would open an grocery store in the 5th floor od a 12 store building, I think like stores should be first and second floor max, second floor only if first floor is also a commercial floor too, like those 2 store clothing stores that exist in shoppi...

cool demo

the game world works amazingly well. i'm sure that everything that i think the game needs is already being done, but i'll say it anyway. there needs to be a lot more assets to help make the world look more unique. everything is too similar so its just more of the same anywhere you go. having no game play features really makes me think of all of the things you could do with a game world like this. i love the planned game play features that were mentioned on the store page, and there's a lot more stuff ...
