Manually backup your "Saves" folder and "Snapshots" folder first, just in case something goes wrong. You can find these by bringing up the game's "Properties", in your Steam library -> "Local Files" tab -> "Browse Local Files".
Fingers crossed that translates.
Beyond that, I don't know... Are you on Windows? Steam? Have you tested any different "Beta" versions of the game?
Yesterday I installed Windows 10, and I installed the game normally, it was not a beta, but today, the game started to crash, I tried to decrease the resolution of the game, thinking it was some hardware problem, but even in the worst quality the game continues crashes ;-
Given the recent upgrade in operating system I would suggest attempting to uninstall Terratech, shutting down the computer, upgrading all relevant video card drivers and then restarting again.
Once restarted, please ensure that Gsync (Nvidia) / Free Sync (ATI) are disabled before attempting to install Terratech.
When attempting to Run Terratech, please do not attempt to change any options in the unity launcher window and wait until a game is in progress before modifying graphic options.
If this too fails, please select an earlier version of Terratech via the Steam beta Menu, perhaps 0.7.7 as an example before trying again.
Additionally, if any Output_log.txt files or crash folders are available within the local files folder of Terratech it is suggested that they be compressed into a .zip archive and either shared on the official terratech forums ( https://forum.terratechgame.com/index.php ) or Via email
( help@terratechgame.com )
