This bug seems to be related to the Unity engine (https://forum.unity.com/threads/inputfield-issue-in-standalone-build-on-linux.512008/).
It happened to me me on several games based on Unity recently.
That bug's really getting annoying since it happens on most updated games.
Well, about Terratech, we just gotta hope they update the engine frequently but the thing is that Unity's devs have to make something about it, not the Terratech team. Go spam their forum, and hope this gets resolved quickly... I'll do the same as soon as I have some time to spare.
Nonetheless IMHO, this is a game breaking bug worth to be resolved as fast as possible for the whole Linux community.
This bug is very annoying, since you cannot play this game unless using a controller, as all keyboard inputs are a problem, including driving.
And that annoying thing is still happening, it's been months since I could play this game in decent conditions...

Cheers!
