hawkeye laser sight not working correctly?

so, i see the visual targeting effect but i cant select an enemy, i also can't vind a way in the description and controls menu

I know what you mean, it says you can manually target an enemy for your weapons to aim for but it does nothing from what I read here on the discussions and only serves as a visual "Your weapons will hit here." I just hope the devs will allow you to manually target an enemy with the laser sight like the discription says or change the description.

they shouldent make a description for any parts if it's not working like it but maybe its a feature comming in 0.7.9

Hello there,

We are aware of the confusion you guys are having regarding the Hawkeye Laser Targeting and can confirm that it serves to just automatically aim at the nearest enemy. We have sent the feedback to the design guys to correct the description :)
