Undo button comes to TerraTech

Cool! But do you have to control the current tech to use it? Sometimes I want to move some base parts but suddenly everything collapses. So can the undo button also be used on player owned bases and other techs without having to control them?

Because you might accidentally disemble your tech while you are being attacked so you don't have to move your mouse to the button.. maybe?
I don't really know why.

Well, there is no real need for a hot key since you don't use the mouse for the weapons to aim =)
