The "get better computer" and "so simple" comments are quite ridiculous... and clueless.

There is a known bug in the game that makes it more and more lagged as dead-bot parts start littering the landscape (the presently preferred theory). You can have a very high-end computer, as I do, and the lag is still gonna get you. I haven't played in two weeks because I can't get beyond 1fps average.

Comments like these are as ridiculous as the typically demeaning "git gud" crap you always see in other forums. You can "git" as "gud" of a computer as you want, and this game still lags... BADLY!

There is a pinned thread by the devs about it, and they are trying to sort out what the underlying problem is and fix it. Meanwhile, just throwing more hardware at the game only very temporarily puts off the inevitable, which is that the game becomes unplayably laggy.

So, how about posting helpful rather than clueless and demeaning comments? So, jayjayclay, look at the pinned threads for the dev's thread about optimizing. Post your specs there, which will hopefully help them get to the bottom of the KNOWN and pervasive problem quickly. It's NOT that you need to "git gud." The devs need to "git fixed"!

Everything i could think of in the few seconds i had.

The game is so great! It would be nice to be able to play it again. Hopefully the devs will devote all possible resources to solving this problem rather than adding new content, etc.

AI Experiment: Attempt using payload cannons and a plasma cutter on a harv, it seemed to remove the lag for me.
